GREECE
This coming summer i am going to Greece. I am going with a group called EFTOURS which is a group that does educational tours. I will be leaving from chicago on june 17th and flying to Rome. We will spend 10 days traveling through out Italy and Greece seeing pretty much everything. Then after the ten days we will go on a three day cruise. So in all i will be gone for 13 days. This is my first time out of the U.S. so i am looking for any tips on packing or flying or anything in general. I have flown before but not for this long of a flight so any advice is welcome.............

Sounds great. I wish could come with you. I would love to see all the spots, that great people of the past have stood.
ReplyDeleteOn thing of advice don't talk to strangers. Sounds typical right but I really mean that when you travel aboard it is know now to be dangerous, it good that you are going to be in a group. Have fun
ReplyDeleteKellan,
ReplyDeleteI have been to both Rome and Greece and you are going to love both places! Both have such history and sorry to say you won’t have enough time to experience all of it. However, you will get a taste and you will want to go back and spend a lot more time at each place. I spent two weeks this past spring in Rome so if you want to know where to go and what to see, let me know. There are some awesome places to eat that are very reasonable. Also, I spent two weeks in Athens several years ago I loved it but Athens was dirty and after I saw the land marks I went and spent time on some of the islands around Greece. Santorini, as my favorite, go to this web site if you get a chance to look at pic. Of Santorini http://www.greeklandscapes.com/greece/santorini.html
